Days of Our Lives star Robert Scott Wilson has a message for one of the biggest stars in the daytime television world. The actor, who is best known for his role as Alex Kiriakis on the hit Peacock soap, wants to work with General Hospital’s Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos). Here’s what he has to say about it.

Back in 2021, Robert made it no secret that he would absolutely love to work with Maurice Benard if given the change. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, the actor said that he wouldn’t mind spending some one-on-one time with Maurice just so he can get into his ‘State of Mind.’ After all, Maurice is one of the biggest names in the daytime television world for a reason. He’s played mob boss Sonny Corinthos for many decades now and only seems to get better with age, too.
Robert put it this way, “I’d really like to talk to Maurice Benard. I did meet him very briefly at the Emmy about two years ago, but it was really just to say hi. A photographer asked us to come together and took a picture. But I’d like to meet him again and pick his brain a little bit. He’s a pretty interesting guy and a great actor.”

But that’s not the only person that Robert wants to spend time with. RSW made it clear that he’s got some big ambitions in his future and that he’s also looking to some of the biggest stars in the industry for a little inspiration. Hey, you can’t blame the man, right?
When asked who he would like to be for just one day, the handsome actor responded with, “I probably would have said my boy Tom Brady, but he’s been having a rough go the last couple of months, so I’ll go with Leonardo DiCaprio. I’d love to be able to have a crack at a couple of his roles. I would have a good time stepping into some of the things he’s done in his past.”
Should RSW try his hand at some more television and Hollywood roles, his Days of Our Lives fans would sure miss him.
