General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, May 1 tease expected ends, worried warnings, and sneaky setups! Laura Collins (Genie Francis) plans expected ends, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) gives worried warnings, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is in a sneaky setup!
General Hospital Spoilers: Expected Ends
At the island near Greenland, Laura talks to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about expected ends after Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) dropped his satellite phone in the snow. Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) henchmen heard it ring as Valentin, Drew, Laura and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) hid behind a large boulder. They have to come up with a plan and quick, as the henchmen are looking around for intruders-them!
Laura decides the best plan of action is to give Victor an expected end-exactly what he’s looking for! Being rounded up and brought into the compound by his henchmen may not be the preferred plan, but it will get them inside.
GH Spoilers: Worried Warnings
Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, Anna gives worried warnings to Scott Baldwin, (Kin Shriner) who now knows Victor’s master plan. He was eavesdropping when Anna, Holly Sutton, (Emma Samms) Andre Maddox, (Anthony Montgomery) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) were talking. Anna clarifies with Scott that he does know that people’s lives are at stake, doesn’t he? She’ll likely reiterate what she and the others were talking about not sending in the WSB like Scott wants to. He doesn’t want the rescue team, Liesl Obrecht, (Kathleen Gati) Trina Robinson, (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer and Ace Prince-Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez, Joey and Jay Clay) to be collateral damage, does he?
General Hospital Spoilers: Making The Best Of A Bad Situation
Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Willow and Michael Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen, Chad Duell) are making the best of a bad situation after the arrest of Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) denies being the whistleblower accusing Carly and Drew of insider trading although he had talked about it to them earlier. Sonny bought Drew time to rescue Liesl and bring her back to Port Charles by sending the SEC agents on a wild goose chase to Hawaii.
Having Brick (Stephen A. Smith) hack into the airlines system and create a fake flight probably wasn’t the most squeaky clean thing to do. But Willow asks Michael if it doesn’t account for something, and she’s probably talking about Sonny diverting the agents’ attention.
GH Spoilers: Nina Reeves Meets With Martin Grey
Meanwhile, Nina Reeves, (Cynthia Watros) who made a call to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to make an anonymous whistleblower report, meets with him. Martin wants to know what’s so important that she wanted to see him the moment he landed. Nina now regrets having making him make that report-if indeed he did-because she didn’t realize the long term consequences. But it is way too late now to put a stop to the process, with it being like a snowball picking up speed on its way down a steep mountain! Nina is way too impulsive and doesn’t think ahead before she acts, that’s obvious.
General Hospital Spoilers: Victor Cassadine Grows Suspcious
Elsewhere, down in the lab of the bunker in the island near Greenland, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) appears to be growing suspicious of Liesl’s efforts. She doesn’t exactly look with fondness at him either, when he encourages her that he has complete faith that she can do just “that”. “That” may be trying the new antidote on Spencer and Trina after exposing them to the pathogen, an engineered virus.
Liesl is obviously trying to stall and buy time as she “works” on this project. If she can’t make an antidote, which at first Victor said would be a vaccine to the airborne pathogen it throws his whole project in question.
GH Spoilers: Sneaky Setups
Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, Sonny finds himself in the midst of a sneaky setup by Dex Heller (Evan Hoffer) in a warehouse with Dex, some of his associates and Pikeman. Dex set up a camera which should be sending video feed to Michael who is setting up Sonny to be arrested by the Feds for illegal arms trading. Dex honestly has been torn just a little, after saving Sonny’s life and then him saving Dex’s. But if all goes according to plan, he won’t have to play double agent much longer. The arrest will happen and Sonny will be behind bars in Federal Prison for a long, long, time.
