It looks like trouble is brewing for Sonny Corinthos and Carly Spencer. The dynamic duo seems to have found themselves in a sticky situation with the law. But they say there’s nothing like a little trouble to bring two former lovers back together, right? Perhaps this run-in with the law will be just what they need to realize their true feelings for each other. Would the fifth time be the charm for this four-times married and divorced couple? One thing is for sure, Sonny is still carrying a torch for Carly and he won’t mind that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) isn’t around to blow it out this time.
GH Spoilers Suggest Sonny Starts Sniffing Around
Sonny is going to be adamant about figuring out who reported Carly, and when he puts his best associates on the case, he knows he’ll get an answer in no time. Hopefully, this will be one storyline that doesn’t have to be dragged out for six months. When Brick (Stephen A. Smith) brings Sonny some uncomfortable information that looks like Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) was the point of contact for the SEC, he may jump to the conclusion that Nina could have been involved — given her conversation with him just hours before Carly was approached by the SEC. It won’t take much for him to solve this mystery, but it’s hard to say whether or not he will share the news with his family when he figures it out.

Sonny is going to win Carly over the moment he chooses her over his girlfriend, Nina — who won’t hold such a title for long. Finding out that Nina dared to try to put the mother of his children in jail is going to be an offense Sonny just cannot overlook — no matter how he feels about her. What does this mean for the future? It means Sonny is still going to need some time to get over his residual feelings for Nina, but that’s not going to stop him from recalling the feelings he never really managed to shake off for his ex-wife.
