The Young and the Restless Star Doug Davidson Shares The Most Epic Throwback Photo Ever

Well hey there, good looking! The Young and the Restless star Doug Davidson (ex-Paul Williams) just shared one of the most epic throwback photos that the internet has seen in a very long time. Here’s what you need to know!

The Young and the Restless Star Doug Davidson Shares The Most Epic Throwback Photo Ever

Doug shared quite a blast from the past in his photo, which includes quite a few The Young and the Restless fan favorites. The photo not only has a very handsome (and young) Doug, but also the actors that played Snapper, Andy and Danny. If you look closely, you will recognize the actors as Lee Crawford, David Hasselhoff, Michael Damian and Mark Bentley.

Back in November, Doug Davidson seemingly sent a message to the producers of The Young and the Restless that he wasn’t happy with the fact that he was no longer on contract. That, and he also shared that Y&R fans surely missed seeing Paul Williams on the canvas. He wrote, “I’m going to take a break from Twitter soon. I’ll send stuff before I go. I keep dreaming about the show and can’t find my script. Well, a nightmare. Let’s see if my absence from here changes my dreams!”

The Young and the Restless star Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) has also advocated for Doug’s return. Braeden told She Knows it was “utterly wrong” that Doug was not on the frontburner as he once was in the past. Braden told the site, “I think it is utterly wrong that he isn’t involved in storylines. He is one of the all-time favorites on our soap and should bloody well be an important part of it!”

Davidson later followed up with a tweet that said, “Okay, I can’t tell you how much it means to have a friend like Eric. Such a wonderful human being!! He is our true leader, but there are some awesome peeps on that show. Thank you again.”

While there’s no doubt that anything can still happen in the future, Y&R producers have been quiet about whether or not Paul Williams will return in the near future. Of course, fans will have to tune in each day for the latest. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on the CBS network. Check your local listings for times.
