According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Sonny is convinced that his marriage to Carly is over. That’s when a vulnerable Sonny succumbs to his feelings for Nina and before they know it, sparks fly. For Sonny, he’s off his medication and also realizes that Laura might be gone forever. As hard as he’s been begging her to come back, it looks like that ship has sailed.
General Hospital spoilers say because of Sonny’s chemical imbalance, his heartache from seeing Carly leave him and also all of the sexual tension between him and Nina start to combust. Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actor Maurice Benard, who plays Sonny on the hit ABC soap, puts it this way, “He can’t help himself. It just happens. So they go into the bedroom,” when it comes to his night of passion with Nina.
General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny And Nina Have Sex – How Will This Change Things?
Maurice further explains, “When you fall in love with somebody for nine months, even if you weren’t yourself, the feelings are going to be there. Sonny keeps saying, ‘I don’t want to have these feelings. I can’t help it!’ And when Nina is standing a foot away from him, it’s really difficult for him not to have these feelings.”
However, the actor says that he understands Carly’s point of view in all of this, too. She’s not going to be a third wheel in her own marriage. Maurice continued, “The fact is that he’s got thees very confusing feelings that he can’t control, and Nina’s right there in front of him, and things happen.”

How can you put Sonny and Nina together they have no chemistry at all how can Sonny forgive her for what she did when he would not ever forgive others that have done less. Please don’t let them sleep together that’s sickening
There is another way to finalize the obvious problem. Nina can have a stroke, heart attack or an attack of goodness and keave town somehow. I hate that they are obviously breaking up Carly and Sonny. Carly will not be able to forgive him for sleeping with Nina, ever! I’m with her!

Nina needs to take a hike. She’s a miserable troubled women. Whatever Carly may have done in the past. She will alway stand by her man. He came back and she dropped Jason who she really was falling for . All she was asking for was time to think about what Nina did to her and her family. Nina is no match for Carly.😉
You are ruining this show. Don’t you care? Sonny’s love for Carly was the one constant we could depend on. At the first obstacle Sonny jumps in bed with Nina. REALLY! That’s a pretty poor way to show your undying love for your wife. If Carly needed reassurance and proof of your love…..YOU FAILED MISERABLY!

I say go for it! Nina called Carly when she found Sonny in Nixon Falls. Carly, screamed on the phone, and Nina couldn’t get a word in edgewise. I’m team Nina, and hope to see this story go in the best direction. Sonny desperately needs help, and Carly refuses to listen to him. “Sonny go to Nina, and let her help you!”
I agree 100%. Carly is not a good person and the fans worship her like she never does anything wrong. I don’t appreciate the friendship between Carly and Drew because she and Sonny dropped him when Jason came back and so did Sam. And I was team Drew and Sam. Drew needs someone new and he deserves a good storyline. Carly and Sonny need to break up. Nina may have had challenges but she is misunderstood.
Sonny and Nina together will absolutely make me throw up! What is wrong with the writers? Let them go and hire writers that can write!

This Sonny/Nina thing is getting on my last nerve! After what she did, how could he ever trust her! Plus is he willing to give up his family? They will NEVER accept or forgive her. On another note, stop having Carly be such a pain. She either wants to work it out with Sonny, or at least try, or MOVE ON! This story line is awful!
