Now this is a side of the actor that we certainly haven’t seen before. The Bold and the Beautiful star Sean Kanan, who is best known for his role as Deacon Sharpe on the hit CBS soap, shared a rather controversial post on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Sharing a twenty second clip in which a young man slaps an elderly woman across the face at a store, Sean shared his frustrations and thoughts over the matter.

He wrote, “I don’t know about the rest of the civilized world but I’ve had it. This coward is accosting an elderly woman. I hate getting involved in politics but right is right. I would simply and politely ask this gentleman two questions 1) cash or charge regarding how he will pay for his visit to the ER. 2) how does he plan on picking up his shattered teeth with broken fingers.”

Sean then continued, “These are not threats. I would simply inquire out of polite curiosity. I am not a tough guy but I’m also not a coward and this insanity must stop. That starts with everyone one of us that stands for empathy, compassion, decency and courage. Wishing you all Godspeed.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for his fans and followers to react. Some of them commented with, “The world is getting sicker by the minute sadly.

People have truly lost love and compassion, and instead are full of hate. I just keep praying come to Jesus because there are many who are lost,” along with, “The New Gen has no respect for anyone or know the meaning. How do these clowns do this to a elder woman and look at their moms and sisters or themselves in the mirror and be PROUD of their actions? Smh”

Another critic wrote, “Wish you could have been there!! This is horrible!! We need to respect the elderly in this world….damn shame! I couldn’t even watch the video!!”
