The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chance Comes Home, But It’s Not A Happy Homecoming
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is back home, but it might not be the happy homecoming that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) was hoping for. That’s because Chance apparently dealt with a traumatic incident while away and now Abby is forced to navigate this new road in their marriage. Keep reading below for all of the latest spoilers you need to know.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chance Comes Home, But It’s Not A Happy Homecoming
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Chance holds his newborn son and tells Abby that he regrets the fact that he was gone for such a long time. That, and he wishes he was around so he could protect Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) during her pregnancy. Of course, there’s no reason to be concerned about the past, as Abby even knows they have a difficult road ahead of them for their future.
Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actress Melissa Ordway, who plays Abby on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “Chance actually being home is much different than Abby expected. In her mind, she assumed they would just pick up where they left off, but it turns out it’s not so easy for him.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers also tease that Chance is not ready to see his family and friends again. And he certainly doesn’t want to attend the homecoming celebration that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has planned for him.
Melissa continues, “Abby thinks a party is a great idea to welcome Chance home but he’s dealing with survivor’s guilt because he’s alive and his team members didn’t make it, so he isn’t in a festive mood. Abby can see that he’s struggling but she’s trying to overlook that and focus on the fact that he’s home.”
Y&R Spoilers: Abby Pretends Everything Is Fine
