The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update Tuesday, April 18: Nikki Gets Her Flirt On, Second GC Death!

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 18, 2023 reveal that the GCPD has its hands full with the ongoing investigation into the “murder” of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Fans know it will soon enough be a much different investigation into the tomfoolery of Phyllis and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) but until then buckle up and enjoy the wild ride Y&R fans, it’s about to get bump-y in here.

Mo Rocca was last seen in 2014 and he once again reprises his role as Milton, an accountant who has a thing for one of the town’s leading ladies. Look for sly Milton to get his flirt on with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) someone he has been jonesing for for a long time.
Spoilers reveal that Nikki and Milton have some soapy scenes coming up so stay tuned and we’ll tell you when the numbers genius Milton gets to interact with Nikki again.

Elsewhere Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) considers desperate Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) request to represent his fiancé Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Diane begged Michael to rep her but his wife shot that down immediately after Diane was arrested for Phyllis’ murder in front of half the town at the bicentennial gala which ended on a sour note.

Michael is so good he is Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) go-to guy so he could be Diane’s only hope at freedom, notwithstanding that Red is alive.
But he won’t take the case without getting a fight from Nikki who puts her two cents in when she discovers that Michael might mount a defense for Diane.

Michael is savvy and he smells some funny business going on with Diane’s situation—but that doesn’t bother Nikki one bit!
Spoiler alert: This case does a 180 when Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is discovered dead right after he got in Phyllis’ face and she practically spit in his eye declaring no one threatens her! Wow, Phyllis is batting 1,000 in the loss column this month.

Double spoiler alert: Phyllis kills Stark in self-defense on the Monday, April 17 episode and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) stumbles upon a clue on Tuesday’s episode.

Does Chance follow up a hot lead and find Stark’s body? Maybe, maybe not. But he could find evidence that Stark was murdered, and with Diane behind bars that gets his mind racing since he has two corpses on his hands but no way Diane could be responsible for both.

Which means the walls are closing in on Phyllis’ stupid plan and soon she will be the one with a mess of trouble at her doorstep—oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. Now that she’s “dead” Phyllis wants to be alive to reunite with the kids who hated her, loved her, and will hate her again when they learn the terror she put them through.
