The Bold and The Beautiful Alum Jacob Young Stars in Lifetime Thriller Movie
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Jacob Young, who played the role of Rick Forrester on the daytime soap, stars in a new Lifetime thriller movie titled, My Daughter’s Double Life.
The film was previously titled Fatal Following. Young portrays the role of a possible cult leader named Bridger who runs a mysterious youth center. The movie follows the story of Heather (Ray Ashton), a single mom who is desperately looking for her teenage daughter, Ally (Jacey Nichole).
The police assumed that Ally may have drowned in the river after finding her belongings on the riverbank. However, Heather thinks otherwise. She turns for help and comfort from her friend, Jack. Heather vows to find Ally and she starts looking for clues from her daughter’s belongings.
That’s where she discovers that Ally has been hanging out with some troubled teens at a young center. She’s worried that Ally has joined a cult and decides to break into the center to save her. Can she save Ally? Or will she be the one that needs saving?
Jacob Young Posts Behind-the-Scene Photos
The actor shared some behind-the-scenes photos from the set of My Daughter’s Double Life with the caption, “This one was such a blast to shoot!” He tagged some of his co-stars Rene Ashton and Jacey Nichole.
“Start your October off with a bang! What a pleasure working with this talented cast and crew!” he continued.
Young Commend’s Nichole For Her Acting
Nichole’s mom was quick to respond to Young’s post and said that she’s “proud and excited” for her daughter. Young lauded Nichole for her impeccable performance as Ally. He said “she is super talented and has a bright future! Thank you for bringing her into this world!”
My Daughter’s Double Life kickstarted Lifetime Movie Network’s “Shocktober” special programming for the month of October. The film, which was directed by Nigel Thomas, premiered on Friday, October 1. The movie is penned by Jenny Paul and Kaila York and other cast members include Alive Disney and Grace Pitts.
For those who are avid watchers of daytime soaps, Young is definitely a familiar face. Aside from his gig on The Bold and the Beautiful, he also appeared on General Hospital and All My Children.
