The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Distance Helps Mariah and Tessa’s Decision

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) wants to be a mother. Mariah had decided to help Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to realize her dream of having a baby. Abby could not carry a child and needed a surrogate. Mariah and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) gave Abby the help she needed to become a mother.

Mariah was kidnapped by Dr. Ben Rayburn AKA Stitch (Sean Carrigan) while she was carrying Abby’s son Dominic Phillip Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (no actor’s name known for this important role). Mariah thought that she would be able to let Abby be a mother to Dominic after he was born. Mariah has been trying to work through the experience of giving birth to Dominic and being kidnapped. Mariah has gotten support from the ones that love her especially her girlfriend Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). Mariah has started to believe that it would help her to have a baby with Tessa.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tessa Porter Is Reluctant to Become a Mother

Tessa was surprised when Mariah informed her that she wanted to have a baby with her. Tessa thought that Mariah would need more time to heal after her kidnapping. Tessa has thought about becoming a mother but is not sure if she is ready to be the one to carry her and Mariah’s child. Tessa is working on her career as a singer. She has been asked to perform at Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) wedding in Tuscany, Italy. Tessa decided that she needed to go to the wedding but Mariah wanted to stay in Genoa City to be close to Dominic. Tessa has gone to the wedding and may find that she wants to begin to think about becoming a mother sooner rather than later. Tessa may feel like expanding her family with Mariah after she has been around the many family members that are supporting Victoria and Ashland.

Mariah has been trying to take a step back from being around Dominic. She and Tessa moved out of Abby’s home because she believed that she needed to let Abby be the one to take care of Dominic. Mariah may find that she could get some sound advice from Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). Mariah has been able to count on Kevin to help her with problems in the past. Kevin may be able to be a sounding board to Mariah and help her to decide if she is really ready to become a mother. Kevin could offer a fresh perspective because he has not been as close to the situation as other people in Mariah and Tessa’s lives. Mariah may start to believe that she needs to take more time to get over being kidnapped and giving birth to Dominic before having her own child after she talks to Kevin.
