General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, August 7 tease memory failures, quid pro quos, and hot seat questions. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) memory fails her on something important, two Cassadines talk a quid pro quo, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) asks some hot seat questions.

General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Bell Won’t Take No For An Answer

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) won’t take no for an answer and he’s likely talking first to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) as he demands her to get him into Ferncliff to see Sasha. But unfortunately, she cannot because Sasha’s visitation list is out of her hands and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is still in control. Sasha no doubt would want to see Cody as well and ask forgiveness for stabbing him when she hallucinated him as Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

But Cody will come up with another plan and ask someone else to help him get in to see Sasha. This will be someone Gladys won’t likely suspect is in cahoots with him.

GH Spoilers: Memory Failures

Still handcuffed to her bed at Ferncliff, Sasha talks to her nurse, Nurse Mandy (Daisy Wang). She says she feels like she’s missing something important, but obviously her memory fails her after being so drugged up. The sedation from dastardly “Doctor” Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) has worn off and perhaps, so have the pills so she’s a bit more lucid. Unfortunately, the nurse might be there to give Sasha more pills or a shot under the direction of the unscrupulous medic. Montague and Gladys don’t want to do anything to stop their cash cow, and if Sasha’s controlling her life and finances that’s what will happen and worse.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sam McCall Voices Her Suspicions

Meanwhile, at the Metro Court pool area someone else is suspicious of Gladys and her role in Sasha’s attack on Cody. Sam gets right in Gladys’ face as she asks who drove Sasha to do that, meaning stabbing Cody. Gladys looks at her like she’s grown antennas and scoffs, but she’s not that good of a liar. Her response will likely make Sam even more suspicious of what’s being done to Sasha.

Previously, Cody had spoke of Gladys, Montague and their sick scheme surrounding Sasha to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). He said he’d be putting a target on his back by Selina Wu (Lydia Look) however.

GH Spoilers: Quid Pro Quo

Elsewhere, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is checking in on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) as promised to Laura Collins (Genie Francis). It sounds like two Cassadines in a quid pro quo as Spencer tells Valentin he’ll keep his own nose clean if Valentin will keep his clean! Spencer doesn’t seem quite as antagonistic to Valentin as Valentin feared he might, but then Valentin was in the rescue party to Greenland and Spencer knows that. Valentin was carrying Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) when he caught up with them after the drone strike and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) flew into his arms.

General Hospital Spoilers: Hot Seat Questions

Anna asks Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) some questions that will put Valentin in the hot seat soon. She asks Robert what he knows about Pikeman-she may not know that Valentin is their go-between between them and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Valentin did work with them closely back in his days as a mercenary, but perhaps he’s never told Anna that.

Robert will have some very interesting information to tell Anna, some of which she may not really want to know. It will cause her some suspicion about Valentin’s involvement with them.

GH Spoilers: Let’s Make A Deal?

At the Metro Court Restaurant, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) tells Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) she’s going to stop her right there. Olivia will make a surprising offer, and it may or may not have anything to do with their joint Metro Court business. Nina had just come from talking to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) at Charlie’s Pub about the youth shelter she’s trying to get off the ground. Trish (Trish Ramish) the Metro Court Hostess had talked it up, wishing there had been something like that when her brother was kicked out of their home as a teenager. It might be a big donation to the shelter Olivia’s talking about.

General Hospital Spoilers: It’s A Hit?

Elsewhere, Sonny is talking some serious business with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) who’s been looking for the big boss over Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) and started with Gordon Stevens (Maurice Hall). Sonny might be putting out a hit, since he tells Brick someone lives until they get that body bag. Steven’s body’s in the morgue and possibly still the police morgue since he was a murder victim.

As far as who’s in the body bag, Sonny could be talking about Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) whose body disappeared, and the person who lives until they get it being Mason. Or, he could be talking about a hit on Mason’s boss and taking out Mason after the big boss.
