Royal Family News: Prince William Says He’s Determined To Stop The ‘Human Tragedy’ That Is Homelessness

Prince William is on a mission and that mission is to make sure that every single person in the United Kingdom has a warm place to sleep at night. Seeing how there is a cost of living crisis in the UK right now, this sure makes sense. In fact, the Prince of Wales says that he is determined to stop the “human tragedy” that is homelessness. Here’s what you need to know.

Royal Family News: Prince William Says He’s Determined To Stop The ‘Human Tragedy’ That Is Homelessness

According to reports, Prince William visited the homeless charity The Passage in Victoria, Central London, on Thursday. In his speech, William said, “I am personally more determined than ever to play my part in working with others to do all we can to stop the human tragedy that is homelessness.”

In the past, Prince William has even hinted that he would be open to having Windsor Castle or even Balmoral Castle open up so the homeless could have a place to stay. Of course, many royal fans and critics alike have commented on the matter with, “Let me guess. He’s on a learning visit to bring awareness to the problem?  *eyeroll* Did he come with any ideas on how to address the issue? Empty-handed as usual, I see,” along with, “Did he mention living in 4 separate palaces or not paying inheritance tax to the government on the vast fortune he was gift through luck of birth? No? Poverty tourism – all to improve his personal PR.”

Royal Family News: The Royal Family Is Being Urged To Do Something

Another critic wrote, “Prince Williams’ family have stolen more homes, property and businesses from the British people through their Crown Servants / Law Officers / Courts etc… than anyone alive. It’s about time they paid all stolen funds back to the people, share the wealth, don’t you reckon??”

Clearly there are a lot of royal fans who feel very passionate about the matter. So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments on whether or not the royals would be open to serving the homeless in one of their many palaces.
