General Hospital spoilers hint that there might be a new romance brewing in this fictional town of Port Charles. In fact, a lot of people believe that a recent episode that had Carly Corinthos pouring her heart out to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) might have indicated that the producers of the show are looking to pair them together in what was a possible screen test. In the latest General Hospital episode, Valentin came across Carly and asked about Willow. During their conversation, Carly kept saying that Nina kept Sonny from his family while Valentin pointed out that Wiley is Nina’s grandson and that they need to put whatever grievances they have for one another in the past. There was even a hint of chemistry between them, too.
Of course, it didn’t take very long for General Hospital fans and critics alike to weigh in on the possibility of seeing Carly and Valentin together. Many of them took to social media to write, “Now this could be interesting, a Carly and Valentine pairing … I noticed their sparks! Their pairing would be great. They both love their families dearly; but also enjoy being sneaky, deceitful, and vengeful. I’m sure if they coupled-up they wouldn’t try to change each-other for “the better” either. I’m ready-to-roll with this pairing,” along with, “OMG! I certainly hope the writers and producers don’t put Valentin in Carly’s orbit. Talk about fan uproar. Not just from those who despise Carly but probably from those that love her too especially the diehard Carson fans. I wonder if LW mentioned to FV she would love if Carly was in a triangle with Anna and Valentin (what happen to Crew)? I mean MB mentions that he wants to work with CW and look at the storyline (NF anyone?) we got from that simple request.”

Edited: rewatched Friday’s episode again this morning. Yup. Definitely a screen test. ( I’d bet money on it; if I were a betting person).”

When was the last time you saw he and Anna together? Every time I see her, she’s all stretched out on the sofa with Robert. Which is fine because I can’t stand either of them.
I wasn’t suggesting Valentin and Carly become the next Edward and Lila, just paring them for a bit. Anything to get her out of Drew’s orbit. I want Drew and nu Jason to get close as brothers and if Drew is with Carly than that won’t happen, even though Jason should be with Britt.
Wouldn’t that stick in Nina’s craw!! Carly taking Nina’s seconds though, don’t know about that. I can see them together though and it would definitely annoy Sonny (so even better). I wouldn’t mind seeing Carly with Drew, but that’s like her trying to replace Jason with him and that won’t fly. I would love to see SB back as Jason, may have to wait until end of summer for that. Would love to hear what he would say to Sonny about how he has acted since his return from the dead, most of all how he would tell Sonny to get his head out of his ass, and to drop the SMIKE BS.

I really liked Carly and Valentine scenes. A different connection, similar personalities. If my fav Carson is on hold for NOW!! I would definitely be interested to see this couple together. Love to see Sonny jealous…yes!
