Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Zach Tinker Opens Up About His Return To Salem
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that fans have sure been getting a whole lot of Zach Tinker (Sonny Kiriakis) in the past several months and needless to say, no one is complaining! The actor first appeared on the Peacock spin-off Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem and then A Very Salem Christmas and is now set to make his debut on Days of Our Lives on March 10th. How exciting! Here’s what he has to say about it.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Zach Tinker Opens Up About His Return To Salem
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Zach and Chandler Massey (Will) will pick up right where they left off. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the handsome actor, who also played Fen on The Young and the Restless put it this way, “He is just an awesome dude. I mean, I really couldn’t have asked for a better guy to work with. He’s very similar to me in our interests. He’s just a genuinely good guy. So we didn’t skip a beat. Every time we work together, it feels like we saw each other the other day.”
Zach also opened up about the return of Leo Stark, played by his former The Young and the Restless co-star and friend, Greg Rikaart. He said, “I love Greg and I really love this storyline, too, because it’s really informed me about Sonny as a character. With Beyond Salem I was kind of thrown into it so quickly that I was like, ‘Oh, okay,’ and just did it. But now I’m getting some more context of who Sonny was before I came along, and what he went through with Leo previously. It’s been helping me, as the season progresses, to try to figure out who I want Sonny to be, but also, I think shapes who he was before I came along.”
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Sonny?
Zach also said he’s been really enjoying taking a deeper dive into his new alter ego. He added, “We get scripts maybe a week before filming and I have a certain number of episodes under my belt where I feel I can pinpoint more who this guy is. I really think I’m getting a much clearer idea of where this guy is the longer the show goes on and it’s fun.”
