The Young and the Restless News: Here’s What Rory Gibson Really Thinks About His Y&R Co-Stars
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Gibson says that he has nothing but love for his The Young and the Restless co-stars, mostly because they’ve been so supportive towards him ever since he began filming the show. He says that one of his favorite people on the set of the soap happens to be Joshua Morrow, who plays Nick Newman. Gibson says, “Josh is so chill. I’ve never seen someone be more relaxed and ready to go in front of the camera like him. He brings a good vibe to the set.”
How about Sharon Case, who plays Sharon Newman on the hit CBS soap? Well, Gibson couldn’t have more positive things to say about her. “She has such a genuine quality to her and you know she cares about what you’re saying. She’s a sweet sweet lady.”
The same of course can be said about The Young and the Restless vet Peter Bergman, who plays Jack Abbott. Gibson puts it this way, “Peter is a gem of a human being. I’m bummed because I haven’t had a scene with him in a while, but every time I see him, I get so stoked.”
Meanwhile Gibson says that working on The Young and the Restless – which also happens to be his first soap job – is everything that he hoped it would be, plus more. “Everyone has been so cool and any kind of fear coming into it has been absolutely eradicated. I’ve been having a great time, and I feel like I have this whole new set of friends that are already starting to feel like family. And now I can call myself a working actor!”
