General Hospital News: Here’s What’s Really Going On With Brooklyn Rae Silzer
Brooklyn, who isn’t really active on social media, shared a photo from her last dance competition as a senior in high school. She posted the pic on her X (formerly Twitter) account. Many of her followers commented on the photo with, “You look Amazing Brooklyn, Enjoy yourself and be safe. I still cannot believe you are a senior. Makes me feel old LOL,” along with, “Happy senior year Brooklyn. Plus this your birthday month your almost 18 wow. How did you do? You look great!”
Back in November, there was some speculation that Brooklyn was looking to quit Port Charles for good. That’s because the talented young lady did admit that she does have other aspirations than acting right now. She told the publication, “I’ve been applying for nursing school. That takes up most of my time.”
General Hospital News: What’s Next For Brooklyn?
So, does this mean she wants to leave General Hospital for good? Brooklyn didn’t say, but it’s pretty clear that she’s got other things on her mind these days. She continued, “Because ever since I started, I’ve known I wanted to be a nurse, I think since I was six years old. I always said, ‘I want to be a nurse when I grow up,’ and it just stayed with me and I’ve become more inspired as I’ve been doing volunteer work throughout my high school years.”
That said, Brooklyn added that she’s hoping to get into a good school in California so she can continue working at General Hospital throughout her college years. The actress also said that she’s getting some pretty cool on-screen experience for her off-screen future aspirations. She said, “It was cool to play a smarter character and to [find out] she’s working in a lab, since that’s something I obviously want to do in real life. She’s not that different, but she has evolved from when she was little.”
