Up until now you’ve probably never heard of his name or probably have never seen his face before, but believe it or not, Matt Hanvey is a very important person when it comes to The Bold and the Beautiful. And no, he’s not an actor, and he’s not part of any upcoming storylines. Instead, he’s one of the show’s biggest fans. Here’s what you need to know about him.

Matt has a huge following on social media and often shares his two thoughts about The Bold and the Beautiful’s storylines, plotlines, characters and so much more. The guy is so big that even B&B’s cast know him by his first name and that says a lot right there!
Back in 2022, Matt opened up about being The Bold and the Beautiful’s biggest fan and made it pretty clear that while he might sometimes poke fun of some of the characters and add his own running commentary to some of the storylines, he’s not trashing the show at all. Instead, he’s just putting his own spin on things. He told Soap Hub in an interview, “I try to make [my posts] funny by [having the characters] say things that they wouldn’t actually say but are kind of true.”
The Bold and the Beautiful Has A Major Superfan
Matt added that his followers love him for speaking his mind about the soap. He added, “I have always gotten nothing but great response. The fans enjoy the posts. I’ll poke fun at all the characters, including my favorites. There are some things that the [show’s] writers can’t put in…if someone hasn’t liked what I’ve posted, they haven’t said anything to me.”
With that said, there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that Matt is certainly a very important part of the show. Without superfans like Matt, we wouldn’t have a super soap like The Bold and the Beautiful to watch, right?
