General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, May 30 tease trying again, happier news, and encouragement with ulterior motives. Tuesday’s a brand new episode with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) trying again, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) getting happier news, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) delivering encouragement with ulterior motives!

General Hospital Spoilers: Trying Again

Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) is with Curtis as he is moving back in and trying again with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). It sounds like he has Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) on his mind more than Portia, however, as he tells a worried Stella he has two choices, give up or give in. He wanted a second try with Jordan, and she with him, but she pushed him to finish his unfinished business with Portia first.

His buddy Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) told him the basic same thing. He needs to finish one thing before he goes back to another and decide whom he really wants to be with.

GH Spoilers: Welcome Wagon

Portia shows up as Curtis’ welcome wagon, smiling and beautiful in an orange sundress as she tells him welcome home. But she knows that he’s not just jumping back into things without being sure, since he’ll be staying in the guest room. It’s obvious she’s dressed to impress and she wants to try to make things work. Curtis is giving it a chance, but he warned her that this is only on a trial basis and it may not happen overnight.

General Hospital Spoilers: Girlfriend Talk

Meanwhile, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are at GH, apparently having a girlfriend talk. Trina’s awaiting paternity test results while Josslyn’s been there waiting as Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was having her bone marrow transplant. But it sounds like all Josslyn has on her mind is Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) as she tells Trina that she has another option.

She’s very angry at her brother Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for calling the takedown operation down regarding Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She is convinced that Dex is in danger, as is he, if Sonny is not imprisoned.

GH Spoilers: Happier News

Meanwhile, at the Collins house where Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is holding an important event, Spencer is on the phone with happier news. He’s dressed up but not as formally as he perhaps should be for the reading of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) will. But he’s relieved, happy and excited as he shares with whoever he’s talking to that it’s funny how your life can change in an instant. Maybe he’s catching up with someone too, possibly Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and telling him about him and Trina.

General Hospital Spoilers: Attorneys And Agendas

Meanwhile, Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is at the Metro Court at a table with District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Sonny had told her to find out from Robert if she could, what kind of information they had about her rumor she’d told him previously. The “rumor” she shared with him in his penthouse was the theory that the SEC is really using Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew’s insider trading case to get to him.

The theory is that the DOJ prodded the SEC to go after Carly with Sonny as the end game, figuring she’d flip on him. Diane has an agenda as she tells Robert she has all the confirmation they will need-but about what, and who’s “they”?

GH Spoilers: A Family Visit

Drew pays a family visit to his ex, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and their daughter, Emily “Scout” Cain (Cosette Abinante). Sam is sure to have heard something about Drew and Carly having been put under arrest, or at least Carly so far, for the SEC insider trading case. Sam will be sure to want to help, perhaps to lend her private investigation skills to find out who the real whistleblower was. But Drew tells her that the less she knows, the better, not wanting her involved in a potential mess-she and Drew founded Aurora Media together.

General Hospital Spoilers: Encouragement With Ulterior Motives

Back at the Metro Court, Nina is at the bar with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) who has her eye on Robert and Diane at their table. Nina had told Olivia what she’d heard at Sonny’s penthouse about the DOJ really being behind the SEC going after Carly and Drew. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has been the number one suspect since he had previously threatened to turn them in for insider trading and now Olivia feels terrible for suspecting him.

Nina’s trying to keep herself from being exposed as the person who blew the whistle. As Olivia keeps staring across the room, she encourages her with ulterior motives, telling her there’s only one way to find out what they’re talking about and that’s to go over.

GH Spoilers: Coming Into Agreement

Meanwhile, Sonny and Carly are elsewhere, possibly in an area of the hospital given Willow’s situation. Sonny had been trying to convince Carly to turn him into the DOJ to save herself and Drew from the SEC, but she doesn’t agree and won’t do it. They may be talking about Willow and hopes that the leukemia didn’t advance too far for the bone marrow transplant to save her life. Sonny tells Carly that on that, they all agree.
