General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, May 8 tease food for thought, fast moving cases and worried survivors. Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) gives food for thought, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) talks about fast moving cases, and worried survivors find out a body’s been recovered.
General Hospital Spoilers: Stealing Some Moments
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) steal some rare moments together while everyone else is at GH worrying about Willow. They snuggle on a couch as Josslyn asks why she has to feel that way. They hate having to keep their love secret but until the Pikeman project is over, they have to continue the secrecy.
Right now everything is on hold after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) told the Pikeman representative they couldn’t move forward until the sniper’s boss was revealed. He let them move one shipment and one only of plastic explosives and that was it-and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) isn’t moving forward either.
GH Spoilers: Food For Thought
Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Willow gives Michael some food for thought as he’s sure something’s not going to happen. Willow, ever the realist, tells him he doesn’t know that. Even though Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is on the way back from Greenland with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and they know it, they have to get there! Plus, Willow’s condition has deteriorated quickly and it may take more to get her ready for the bone marrow transplant.
General Hospital Spoilers: Sam McCall Catches Up With Nina Reeves
Elsewhere, a somber looking Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) catch up. Sam tells Nina that sometimes knowing something makes things worse-like knowing even with Liesl on the way back, Willow still could not make it. Of course, in the back of Nina’s mind is her impulsive decision to have Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) sic the SEC on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew.
She worries that someone could figure it out and that would not be good. Willow has just told her to make peace with Carly and her impulsive decision was pure vindictiveness.
GH Spoilers: Fast Moving Cases
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Dante is talking to Carly about the SEC case as he tells her they’re moving pretty fast, and he’d say they have a case. Carly knows Drew is on his way back and probably the first place he’ll go is General Hospital to drop off Liesl. She’ll be worried that he’ll be arrested right away after Sonny sent the SEC on a “wild Drew chase” to Maui. They’re not sure how they’re going to get out of this one – and both Carly and Drew blame Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Michael does too.
General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Asks Diane Miller’s Help
Elsewhere, Sonny asks Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) help, likely in trying to track down the identity of the whistleblower who sicced the SEC on Carly and Drew. He tells her it’s a little too late to be a stickler for the truth, there has to be a way to find out who it was if she’s defending Carly. Diane might be telling him his misdirecting the agents to Maui to look for Drew could have harmed the case as well, which would make sense given his statement.
The most important thing is it bought time for Drew to find Liesl and bring her back to Port Charles. Now they can prepare for Willow’s bone marrow transplant.
GH Spoilers: Worried Survivors
Still in Greenland, perhaps inside part of the bunker, a much better looking Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). She’s holding baby Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) as a WSB agent announces a body has been recovered. The drone strike that was supposed to take out the island with the bunker was directed to the Haunted Star, which Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was escaping in. Trina was watching, horrified, with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as they saw the explosions. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) had been on the boat, having gone after Victor-most likely, it’s Victor’s body since Spencer had knocked him unconscious.
