Let’s just say that he’s definitely dedicated to his hockey team! The Bold and the Beautiful star Tanner Novlan (Finn) recently opened up about his love for hockey and why he might be a little obsessed with Connor McDavid. But no, it’s not a bad thing at all. Here’s what he has to say.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the handsome actor opened up as to why he’s a die-hard Oilers fan. He said, “I was born an Edmonton Oilers fan. Edmonton is the closest major city to my hometown [in Saskatchewan, Canada]. And, have you heard of Wayne Gretzky?!”
Hey, we’ve all heard about the Great Watne! When asked what his proudest moment has been as a fan, Tanner said, “The Oilers weren’t winning cups like the 1980s. When I was a kid, they would usually be the underdog but we went on a playoff run in 2006, it was amazing how the city rallied behind them.”
He also said that his all-time favorite player and his favorite current player is none other than Connor McDavid. And his most memorable moment is when he says, “I watched Connor McDavid live. It was unbelievable to watch him dominate at the highest level.”
The Bold and the Beautiful Needs Connor On The Show At This Point
When asked if he’s ever met someone on the team, Tanner said, “Yeah, I remember meeting Curtis Joseph as a kid. And more recently, Connor McDavid!”
Ok, at this point, we just need to get Connor McDavid to come film a few scenes on The Bold and the Beautiful, right? It has to happen for Tanner’s sake, ha! We can see him skate his way into town and maybe have an affair with someone like Steffy Forrester. While Tanner might not like his real life hero getting it on with his character’s fictional wife, it would sure make for some good drama. That, and Tanner would get to share a lot of camera time with the hockey player!
