The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that if he looks familiar, it’s because he most certainly is. Actor Rodsney Van Johnson, who a lot of soap fans will most likely remember as his character, T.C. on Passions, has joined the cast of B&B. Here’s what you need to know!
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Rodney Van Johnson Opens Up About His New Character
Speaking to Soap OPera Digest in a new interview, Rodney says that he’s always wanted to play a role on The Bold and the Beautiful. He says, “Because it is the bold and the beautiful and your ego says, ‘Yeah, I want to be there. I think I’m bold. And I think I’m beautiful.’ It was great to be back in the environment of soap operas. It’s a hard job. It’s a challenging job, but also, as an actor, it is a very rewarding job and I really enjoy that.”
Rodney will be playing Sheila’s attorney, which also meant that he got to spend a lot of time with the very talented Kimberlin Brown. He says, “We laughed a lot, let’s put it that way. I had never worked with Kimberlin before and she is such a rock star. She is so professional and so funny! You can see someone on television but when you meet them in person, that’s when you see what they are really like and she is such a funny, cool person. I hope we get to do it again and again and again.”
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next For Rodney?
Rodney also says that coming back to the set of a soap opera show was like riding a bike again. Yet, he explains, “I knew where I was going. It felt like being home back in a studio. I was so grateful to be there and once the cameras roll and you get into that moment, it’s there. It just came back.”
