Deidre Hall Shares A Heartfelt Video

Deidre Hall Took to social media to share a heartfelt video with her followers. In the clip, which was posted on Instagram, the actress shared that she’s been with Days Of Our Lives for more than 40 years. She considers it not as a job but as a family. She urged viewers to be part of that family.

She then reminded viewers that the daytime drama is moving to Peacock. She encouraged them to “make the transition together. We want you to come with us and continue our special journey. From all of the Hortons, the DiMeras, the Bradys, the Kiriakises, the Price-Carvers, the Hernandez, the Johnsons, and most importantly, the Evans-Black family, we love you. And we’re so grateful for your ongoing support.”

The actress then ended the clip by saying that Days Of Our Lives will be streaming on Peacock starting September 12.

Fans React To Deidre Hall’s Video

The reactions of fans to Hall’s video varied. Some were excited, while others said that it’ll be the end for them. A few viewers believe that it’s NBC’s way to slowly wean viewers from the show because they have plans to cancel it in the future. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Days Of Our Lives boss Ken Corday tried to appease fans of their worries that they’ll be losing the show soon.

Corday revealed that they’ve always planned the move long and that it was just a question of when.

“The bottom line is, this is the future,” he said.

“Whether people believe it or not now, or in a year or two, this is the future of in-line television. This is not the end of an era, it’s the beginning of another era,” he continued.

Based on what Corday said, Days Of Our Lives isn’t being canceled. It’s expected to stay in Peacock for a long time. They just want to make sure that the transition from NBC to the streaming platform would be painless and easy for viewers.
