General Hospital spoilers say that life just hasn’t been the same for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) ever since Jason Morgan died (or at least some people out there believe that he died) and her husband Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) starting cheating on her with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). That, and it seems like Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has been trying to get closer to her, which has not only confused Carly but also made her one emotional mess. But now that it seems like Carly and Drew have been flirting more and more, a lot of General Hospital fans can’t help but wonder: should the two of them hook up? Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital Spoilers: Should Drew And Carly Hook Up?
To put it simply, Carly has not had the best week, the best month or even the best year. But that hasn’t stopped her from plowing through and trying to find some sense in her life right now. While she doesn’t know what’s in store for her future, she does know that Sonny won’t be a part of it anymore. And while there’s no doubt that she would love to have Jason back in her life again, his absence has left a huge gaping hole in her heart. That, and she’s still holding on to the hope that he might still be alive somewhere.

That said, General Hospital spoilers say that Drew has been doing whatever he can to console Carly during this challenging time in her life. However, it hasn’t been easy. Carly knows that Drew is no replacement for Jason, even though they are brothers. But at the same time, she’s been feeling lonely. She no longer has her husband by her side and she certainly doesn’t have her best friend, either. That’s why so many fans can’t help but ask: should Carly hook up with Drew? What do you think? Their hook up would definitely give Sonny something to think about! Actually, make that something to be angry about, too!

A Drew/Carly pairing would be another disaster. Sure, Drew hasn’t done anything of essence since his return, but if his return is only to pair with Carly he should have stayed away. Why can’t Carly be without a significant other for a period of time?? It wouldn’t be too bad if Sonny were to take the same course. I can see tit for tac coming between the two if both are engaged with others. Both will be jealous of the other and it will take forever for the story to be told. Hope writers give viewers a break and allow each to go solo for a good period of time. If the two characters can’t get along without each other or other attachments, then both characters futures are doomed. Writers could pen good story for both characters that don’t have to involve a pairing with anyone.
DREW AND CARLY? HELL NO…HE SHOULD HAVE STAYED ON HALLMARK FOR WHAT THEY ARE GIVING MATHISON TO PLAY….HE IS TOO GOOD OF AN ACTOR TO BE THERE TO CONSOLE CARLY…WHAT THE HECK ARE THESE WRITERS DOING? UGH…I AM OVER IT…

No, no, no, no no… Please recast Jason and let Carly and Jason get together as husband/wife! Please find a good actor to play Jason…. Don’t replace the wonderful, unique Jason-Carly relationship with a weak copycat version with Drew…. PLEASE don’t!!!
