Of course, we are talking about handsome Georgia peach Matthew Atkinson, who plays Thomas Forrester on the hit CBS soap. The actor recently opened up about some of his favorite things, other than playing the manipulative Forrester son on daytime television. Here’s what he has to say!

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, when asked what his takes on clowns are (out of all the possible questions in the universe), Matthew said, “There are two schools of thought on clowns: love them or hate them. I’ve never cared for clowns. It’s not negative. They don’t scare me. I’m guess I’m neutral.”
Matthew also opened up about what would be the first thing he would buy if he won the lottery. He said, “Right now, I’d buy a home in the mountains away from everything, where it snows in the winter. It’d be my getaway from the city, so I’d say a cabin in the woods.”
When it comes to the last movie that made him laugh, he said, “I was rewatching Bruce Almighty recently, which really demonstrates the genius of Steve Carell in comedy. I love it.” And as far as what his favorite dessert is, Matthew revealed, “Throughout my life, I’ve loved a cookie cake. I love a big massive cookie. I’m the Cookie Monster.” It’s no wonder why we love Matthew Atkinson so much! That’s because he’s so relatable and a far cry from the character that he plans on the canvas, Thomas Forrester. Handsome, talented, funny, and has a great smile – what else can you ask for in a man, right?
