That’s because a lot of people have pointed out that there seems to be a recurring storyline in every season of the show that has to do with business drama.
This time around though, it seems like the new business storyline is going to be about what Jill Abbot might be hiding and whether or not Mr. The Chancellor left his company to Billy Abott.
Whatever the case it seems like a lot of fans are just over it. That, and they’ve also noticed that a lot of business deals seem to happen either in living rooms or in coffee shops in this fictional town of Genoa City.
It goes without saying that the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “None of the characters even pretend to work. The bartender occasionally serves a drink, but that’s about it. I assume faceless, nameless employees are being worked to death.”
Are We Getting A New Business Storyline?
Another critic of the show wrote, “Yeah it’s like does anyone even step foot in the office? It’s very strange how they just all walk around town, working at coffee shops or society, and get any work done.”
“JG only has two story ideas: business and kidnapping, and sometimes kidnapping from businesses.”
And then there was this comment as well: “The businesses themselves getting kidnapped was the most ridiculous part of the last year. Also, he doesn’t even do business storylines well.”
“Not a single one of these companies would still exist or have shareholders with the amount of turmoil and turnover there has been in the C suites.”
Then again, Y&R fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
