The Young And The Restless Spoilers Monday, August 3: Mariah’s Arrival Stuns Sharon and Upsets Devon
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 3 reveal that Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) freedom day arrives and not everyone is ready. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is surprised and Devon Winters (Bryton James) is tested when Mariah is released from the psych ward.
Mariah got a slap on the hand for kidnapping Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark). She should have been sent to the slammer but instead did rehab in a cushy facility.
Mariah’s Surprise
Devon confronted his tormenter in her captivity and she urged him to forgive himself. He has been having a difficult time lately and her appearance won’t help his troubled mind.
Did Mariah get the help she needed? We are about to find out!
Although Devon has told his wife Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) that he’s over his
Mariah anger, she’s not so sure.
Mariah Is a Free Woman
It appears that Mariah is released from rehab and shares a reunion with Sharon on Monday. Sharon was aware the release date was coming up but it could be that she kept the official date to herself—already keeping secrets is she?
Mariah could tell Sharon that she wanted to surprise her, but ultimately Mariah should have come clean to her mom at the very least.
Will Devon Blow His Stack?
Sharon and Mariah’s get together happens at Crimson Lights and this could be the first Devon sees of her. How will he react given that he’s been trying not to be angry about what she did?
Being blindsided by the sight of Mariah is sure to shock Devon.
How Does Devon React?
Whatever is going on with Devon, he will be tested by Mariah’s arrival. It would be natural for him to tell Mariah to stay away from Dominic, and hopefully he manages to keep his temper.
It’s more likely that Devon faces Mariah and then slinks off to throw a pity party which will worry Abby further.
