General Hospital Spoilers: Ava’s Deception, Cyrus’ Betrayal, Jagger’s Flirtation
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, April 18 tease deceptions, betrayals, and flirtations. Ava Jerome (Maura West) deceives Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) betrays him to the PCPD, and John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) flirts with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
General Hospital Spoilers: Premarital Panic
There’s a case of premarital panic at GH, as Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) consults with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Finn is to be Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) best man and Dante his groomsman at his wedding to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). The wedding looms near, but now there’s a panic situation with Chase’s bachelor party!
Finn panics to Dante that Chase’s bachelor party is going sideways, and he doesn’t know what to do! The infectious disease specialist and the detective are hot on the case to solve it!
GH Spoilers: Ava’s Deception
At the Haven Bistro, Ava continues to deceive Sonny by holding things back, but in this case, it may be for his own good. Previously, she’d taken a couple of his pills to help her sleep since the bottle said it could make one drowsy.
Whether they were his bipolar meds or a muscle relaxer to medicate side effects is unclear, but she made a call to the hospital pharmacy for information.
She may have received a call back and possibly took the two she found in a baggie in his desk over for analysis. She thanks the person on the other end of the phone, telling them they’ve been very helpful.
General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus’ Betrayal
Cyrus may not have it in his mind as a betrayal when he goes on the record about his beating by Sonny to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) but Sonny would differ!
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) had met with him previously and they had a good talk about Sonny and how he beat him up in a church. Cyrus has been no angel himself, but after his heart attack he has become rather frail, and Sonny nearly beat him to death with his bare hands New Years’ Eve!
Laura asked him if he would now be willing to press charges against Sonny and now he’s talking to Anna. She asks him what brings him to her office.
GH Spoilers: Dex Heller’s Next Step
Apparently, Anna was able to change Police Academy Director Calvin Bennett’s (Kendrick Cross) mind about letting Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) into the academy.
Bennett had concerns about Dex’s motivation, worried he was doing some kind of penance and he’d endanger himself in the process.
Dex is in a bulletproof vest and coming down some stairs and tells someone he’s ready whenever they are. He looks like he’s all set for the Police Academy’s version of basic training.
General Hospital Spoilers: Suspicious Minds
Meanwhile, at Bobbie’s Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) talk, with Michael saying “we should keep an eye on that guy”.
It’s possible they could be talking about Dex, since Joss was worried about him being a target for Sonny now that he’s going to be a cop. But more than likely they’re talking at someone they’ve spotted at Bobbie’s, someone talking to their mother.
FBI Agent Cates is there, and he may not realize he’s the one under surveillance. Neither Michael nor Josslyn trust Jagger!
GH Spoilers: Jagger’s Flirtation
To Joss and Michael, it could certainly seem that Jagger’s flirting with Carly as he tells her it’s time he finally gave her something in return! Carly smiles, and perhaps he’s giving her an apology.
He already thanked her for saving him from the two thugs sent by Sonny and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to beat him up in the alley. Then she stayed in his suite at the Metro Court all night to make sure he didn’t have a concussion, although he still is very banged up!
General Hospital Spoilers: Lois Cerullo Tries To Convince Sonny
At the Metro Court restaurant, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) tries to convince Sonny to come to Brook Lynn and Chase’s wedding. She tells Sonny it wouldn’t be complete without him! Sonny looks morose and hesitant however, possibly worried his having a target on his back would ruin the wedding.
No one would blame him for feeling unsafe and possibly endangering people at a public venue. Will Sonny say yes or respectively decline?
