General Hospital fans have been doing a lot of speculating lately. Now that it’s been announced that Kassie dePaiva is reprising her One Life to Live role as Blair in Port Charles, many fans can’t help but wonder if other big-named characters should come back, too. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital MAJOR Speculation: Brenda Stirs The Pot Again
With all this talk about Kassie reprising her role and bringing Blair to Port Charles, many General Hospital fans have also pointed out that the producers of the show could have brought back Susan Lucci as her character Erica Kane or better yet, Vanessa Marcil as Brenda. Vanessa has long said that she would love to come back and cause some trouble again as Brenda as even fans have said that she could give someone like Carly Corinthos a good run for her money.
Some General Hospital fans have even taken to social media to weigh in on the matter with, “I like Kassie, but the money spent on Walt Willey and Kassie would be better spent for Vanessa Marcil to come back for a few weeks and stir the pot,” along with, “I would agree with everyone here that Carly needs some good competition. If the producers of the show knew what they were doing they would bring Vanessa back in a heartbeat. The ratings would blow the roof.”

Then again, there’s always a chance that Brenda might come back. It might seem like Brenda is dead, but then again when it comes to the world of daytime television, nothing is what it seems. And if she does come back, Brenda would certainly make the ground shake from beneath her in this fictional town of Port Charles. The one person who would feel it the most of course is her ex, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
So, will Vanessa ever come back as Brenda? Fans can only hope.
