General Hospital Spoilers: Eclipse Coverage, Nina’s Argument, Sonny’s Irritation, Jason’s Request
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, April 8 tease eclipse coverage, arguments, irritation and requests-there will be a new GH episode Tuesday, April 9.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) gets in an argument, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is irritated, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has a request.
General Hospital Spoilers: Eclipse Coverage
On Monday, ABC and all Disney-owned stations plan a special eclipse coverage starting 2 pm EDT which is when GH’s east coast episode would air.
The episode you’re seeing a sneak peek of here is going to air on Tuesday. The news coverage will broadcast from several areas across the United States showing the path of totality.
Backup plan is to show a rerun of a GH episode should weather conditions complicate the eclipse coverage. This will also affect streaming, not only broadcast stations.
GH Spoilers: Nina’s Argument
Nina will get into a fierce argument with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Drew wants to know what he gets out of this? It sounds like they’re arguing about a Crimson article, although they could also be arguing about a plot for revenge.
Earlier, Nina had goaded Drew about Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) dumping him for Jason, but he had informed her he dumped her, not the other way around. He’d then asked her what payback ever got her-she’d just smiled!
General Hospital Spoilers: Olivia Quartermaine Has A Discussion
Elsewhere, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) has a discussion, and mentions a mystery woman, noting that’s not the only thing she’s done without input from her!
Since Nina still owns half of the Metro Court, she could also be talking about Nina, but she could be talking closer to home. Since Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has come home she’s pretty much taken over-they’ve had clashes about several things at the Quartermaine mansion.
But since Tracy’s her mother-in-law usually Olivia just kind of tries to work around her. Sometimes, she just kind of ignores her and does as she sees fit!
GH Spoilers: Diane Miller’s Discussion
It’s obvious Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) isn’t in her law office as she appears to be discussing something with a client-that looks like a closed stable door behind her.
Diane tells her listener that someone behind the scenes was working in their favor. The only client she might need to meet with in an incognito place like the Quartermaine stables is Jason, and she might be talking about the rest of the case against him having been dropped.
There were still charges against Jason aside from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) exonerating him for his shooting. It seems they’ve all gone away!
General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Irritation
At Sonny’s penthouse, Ava Jerome (Maura West) listens as Sonny vents, irritated that Drew hired Nina for Crimson, which he obviously must have heard about. Sonny asks why would Drew hire the woman who put him in prison?
Only Ava would have found need to tell him about that, since he no longer keeps up with Carly.
Someone, however, will be irritated with Ava and disturbed by her behavior, especially around Sonny. That would be his protective daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi)!
GH Spoilers: Jason’s Request
It does indeed look like the person Diane is meeting with is Jason, since that same closed stable door can be seen behind him. Jason makes a request and says he needs her to do something else for him.
Since Jason is being forced to act as bait to draw Pikeman out, it does indeed make sense to meet somewhere safe. He’s actually staying in the room over Bobbie’s, but the stable is far enough away for no one to suspect and make trouble
General Hospital Spoilers: John Cates Is In Trouble
Speaking of trouble, it would seem John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) finds himself in some as Carly spots him as she’s driving her car at night. She shouts at someone “hey, leave him alone” and actually rides to his rescue.
Jagger is not her favorite person but she’s not going to let someone get hurt if she can help.
Perhaps it’s just a quick getaway that he needs although it sounds like something serious. Jagger may have been surrounded by some thugs and maybe she’ll drive through them and pick him up!
