The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Phyllis and Christine are fighting over Danny, an aging rocker, but shouldn’t they be spending their time doing much better things? During the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis told her love rival, “You don’t scare me, if it’s war you want, it’s war you’ll get, and we’ll see who wins!”

To which Christine replied with, “Okay, if that’s how you want to play it, gauntlet THROWN!!”

It goes without saying that many The Young and the Restless fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “Oh great, two 55 year old women fighting over a has-been 60 year old rock singer……what compelling television….can’t wait….. But really, lazy writing, not character driven, Christine should not roll in the dirt over Danny with Phyllis,” along with, “This is beyond embarrassing. These middle aged women have so many other things they could be doing instead of fighting over the has-been that called himself trying to select a Third Option but not really achieving anything but running w/his tail between his legs.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Why would two intelligent beautiful women want to fight over an aging rocker. Does anyone even care about this? I can’t imagine grown women acting this way, even in a soap. It’s a no thank you for me.”

Clearly, many fans just can’t help but wonder why these two women are even fighting over Danny, seeing how they could do much better!
