The timing would be right on point, seeing how Lois (Rena Sofer) could use someone like Brenda as her reinforcement these days. Not only that, but Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) could use all the help that she could get from a firecracker of an aunt like Brenda.
And let’s also not forget to mention Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). His world would flip upside down if Brenda came back to Port Charles.
As our readers can imagine, the internet had a lot to say about the possibility of seeing Brenda back on the canvas.
Some fans have even taken to social media to write, “It would be stunt casting MASTERY if Brenda Barrett simply came back. Lois gets her best friend back with patented Brenda Power Strength Leveling. Brook Lynn gets her Aunt Brenda back as well. Jason lives there now. Monica loves her but knows her.”
General Hospital Specs: Brenda Is The Firecracker Port Charles Needs Right Now
Another fan wrote, “Love the Brenda dynamic! So many possibilities! When Sonny was going to sleep for his surgery and having that mental montage I half expected Brenda to flash on the screen.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Yes Brenda back to reunite with Lois is more interesting than all the other returns. If we’re going to fantasize… let’s fantasize about a long term visit!”
No, whether or not Brenda actually does come back to this fictional town of Port Charles remains to be seen. So far the producers of the show have not made any comments about the matter, although it does still remain a possibility. Watch this space for more.

Rena Sofer is probably my favorite soap opera actress of today, but to have Brenda Barrett back, especially if it was Vanessa Marcil, would be grand. I would like to see Brenda and Carly duke it out for Sonny; because I know I would! He is gorgeous!
Fantasize he’ll, make it a reality. I love Brenda and the possibility of her getting with Sonny might wipe the bad taste out of my mouth with Drew and Willow storyline
I like the Brenda character, but don’t feel her presence is needed at the current time.
Both Lulu and Lucky have been brought back to canvas but in my opinion neither has had a story line of interest. Sure it is great to see former characters return but if there presence isn’t going to bring interest, their presence is not need in my opinion.

Nothing against Brenda, but I don’t want to see her back in PC! Her term is over and long past. There is quite enough going on right now and many different storylines to wind up. We don’t need something else just now!
