General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Confronts Nina Over Charlotte Cover-Up Ahead of SEC Snitch Reveal!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) will confront Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) this week over covering up Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) crimes against Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) after learning of Nina’s involvement from Anna herself.

Sonny is no saint. You don’t get to be the head of a criminal empire without making questionable choices and keeping things on a need-to-know basis. However, he does expect loyalty, honesty and trust from those closest to him; his family topping that list.

General Hospital – Honeymoon Coming To A Screeching Halt!

Sonny and Nina just got married and should be enjoying the honeymoon stage of marriage, but Nina’s actions could cause the honeymoon to come to a screeching halt.

Charlotte is a kid that just happens to be his grandson Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Francis Carr) half-sister and the granddaughter of good friends Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis), so anything going on with her is going to be a matter of great importance to Sonny.

Additionally, Charlotte had been targeting and terrorizing his good friend Anna. If Nina had come to Sonny and trusted him with the truth about what was going on, he would have clued Anna in, and Charlotte could have avoided being shot and being hospitalized.

This November, General Hospital is featuring several couples in crisis-Sonny and Nina being one of them. Nina often acts first and thinks about the consequences of her actions later. Sonny is not pleased that he had to hear this information about his wife’s involvement from Anna.

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Love Charlotte Cassadine

Without a doubt Nina loves Charlotte, a little girl that she helped raise and loves like a daughter and she cares about her father Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) too.

When he asked her to remove the security footage she did because like Valentin she was also in protective parent mode when it came to Charlotte. In that moment, Sonny and Anna didn’t matter. It was all about Charlotte.

Sonny understands a parent’s love for their child or stepchild so he would have been supportive and understanding of what Nina was feeling, even if he had to tell Anna anyway.

Nina chose not to come to him but to keep this secret with Valentin, her ex-husband. Nina’s bond with him and their shared love and grief over Charlotte is quite powerful; something Sonny should take note of.

He is a proud man and nothing another man asks of his wife should take priority of his need to know the truth.

Nina will rationalize her choices likely claiming this wasn’t her story to tell, it was Valentin’s. Sonny won’t see it that way.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Secrets End Nina Reeves Marriage

Nina’s lies aren’t enough to end her marriage. In fact, Sonny should forgive as she tries to smooth things over with him. However, her lies about Charlotte are nothing compared to the truth she’s been hiding of turning Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC.

Now Sonny’s sensitivities will be awakened the rose-colored glasses will be removed where Nina is concerned.

That’s not good for Nina since both Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), who’s back after spending the last several months as Eddie Maine, know the truth about what she did.

Michael is telling himself that for Sonny and Willow Corinthos’(Katelyn MacMullen) happiness, he won’t reveal what Nina did. However, it seems like he is really keeping the secret for himself, to have power and control over Nina. His own personal payback for what she did not his mother and uncle.

Ned, on the other hand, just got all of his memories back and is furious with Nina, both for what she did and the fact that she let him be blamed for it for months.

He wants to see her get what’s coming to her, but his wife Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) doesn’t want to rock the boat when it comes to Sonny’s happiness as well as Drew’s readjustment since his Pentonville release.

Ned promised to keep a lid on it for now but made it clear that it’s temporary and that he won’t stay quiet forever.

Since Michael is forcing Nina to sell her half of the Metro Court back to Carly, both Carly and Sonny view it as suspicious. Carly, especially, will keep digging for the truth until she gets it.

Sonny’s fury about Nina’s Charlotte lies is just the warm-up for the potential hell storm that will be unleashed when he discovers that his wife sold out his ex-wife and mother of his children for revenge and lied about it to his face for months!
