General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, September 20 tease suspicions, surprises and solicitations. Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) seems suspicious, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has a surprise, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) solicits protection.

Grandmother and granddaughter are still feuding as Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) tells Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) she should be thanking her, not sulking. Is Brook Lynn supposed to think blackmailing her into being a corporate spy and getting her fired is a favor? Brook Lynn will deliver a stern rebuke to Tracy, and she isn’t doing her any more favors.

She moved out of the Quartermaine mansion over the dysfunction between the two. She could be liable for arrest as a corporate spy if her former bosses decided to implicate her.

GH Spoilers: Cody Bell Apologizes

Still in the remote cabin they’re using as a hideout, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) asks a guilty looking Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) how he’s dishonest? Cody has a flashback about lying about Mac Scorpio (John J. York) being his birth father, knowing he could help in this situation. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) had talked about involving Mac, and then unsure about asking him so many favors. Might Cody confess his lies and apologize about telling Mac and others he lied about the DNA test?

General Hospital Spoilers: Full Of Surprises!

Meanwhile, Cody’s ear might be itching as Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) invoking his name at Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place, James West (Gary James Fuller) by her side.

Felicia laughs and tells someone “that Cody, he’s full of surprises!” She may have heard about Cody’s rescuing Sasha out of Ferncliff, and she could even be talking to Mac.

Mac did a similar thing to rescue Cody’s mother, Dominique Stanton (Shell Danielson). He pretended to be insane in order to rescue her from a place like Ferncliff.

GH Spoilers: Suspicions

At the hospital, you can tell Gregory is suspicious as he meets Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) in the hallway in front of a room. Finn and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) had talked about bringing in a more compassionate neurologist than Dr. Bronson (Jeffrey Stubblefield) for Gregory.

Gregory says to Finn he can’t wait to hear what this is about; Gregory may decide he doesn’t care if Bronson is brusque, he wants facts, not pity.

General Hospital Spoilers: Out Of The Loop?

Maxie clashes with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) for leaving her out of the loop on something; she wants to know when she was going to tell her this?

Lucy turned Tracy down flat on the deal she offered in order to call off the lawsuit-she wouldn’t even consider it. Maxie had been willing to work with Tracy in order to keep the company somewhat afloat, even if Tracy owned 75%.

What if they lose the whole company to Tracy, who’s going to have a job? But Lucy wouldn’t give up her one share of ELQ and that was part of the deal.

GH Spoilers: Surprises

Later, Lucy is seen coming out of an elevator with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and holding a bottle of wine. It looks like they’re bound for a surprise party for someone, with Lucy shouting “Surprise!”

Apparently Tracy isn’t real worried about the fate of her cosmetics company right now. But then, the court isn’t expected to convene for several months, so maybe she’s got some cats in her bag. Perhaps Scott’s the surprise and they’re surprising Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

General Hospital Spoilers: Don’t Look At Me In That Tone Of Voice

In the hall outside Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna’s suite at The Metro Court, which they’re moving out of, Valentin looks sternly at Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

He looks like he could be thinking “don’t look at me in that tone of voice” as he asks her where she’s been and what she’s been doing. Charlotte was caught on videotape entering the suite which had been ransacked and vandalized, a threatening message towards Anna on the mirror.

Charlotte looks cool as a cucumber and barely flinches when her father looks at her and means business. She didn’t flinch inside the suite either which police descended upon after Anna called about the break in-is her Cassadine showing?

GH Spoilers: Solicitations

Meanwhile, Anna has gone to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at his office in Pozzulo’s, taking him up on an offer he’d previously made to her.

She’s soliciting protection from Sonny, and asking if his offer still stands. A safe house may not hurt either, since her stalker (which appears to be Charlotte) could find anywhere she’s staying if Valentin’s with her.

Anna’s house was completely destroyed by an arsonist after threats spray painted in red were on her front door. The vandalism inside the suite was all in red as well.
