Both Liam and Brooke have made it no secret that they believe Hope Logan has “lost her damn mind” in thinking that Thomas Forrester is the man for her. But before we get into all of the reasons why they are wrong, there is some truth in what they are saying. After all, Thomas did have a reputation for being an unhinged human being who did some pretty terrible and dangerous things in the past.
Liam certainly has no reason to trust Thomas especially since he spent a lot of time trying to pry Hope away from his marriage. And Brooke knows that Thomas is the last person that should be with her daughter. He lied about her baby Beth being dead and most recently, tried to frame Brooke by using a voice altering app to make it sound like she was the one who called CPS on him over his son, Douglas Forrester. We couldn’t make this up if we tried to.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s In Store For Hope Logan?
But at the same time, Brooke and Liam are two people who always try to pretend like they know everything better than everyone else. And they sure do use a lot of gaslighting techniques to make their message come across in the strongest way possible. Liam keeps telling Hope that she’s wrong in thinking that she’s in love with Thomas. Brooke, meanwhile, says that Hope can’t be serious in thinking that she’s in love with the handsome Forrester son. Can this woman think for herself already? If there’s anything both Brooke and Liam do the same, it’s how they try to control someone else’s thoughts. And with Hope, it seems to be working!
