The Young and the Restless Spoilers UPDATE Friday, August 11: Nate’s Risky Move, Sharon Blasts Adam, Daniel Puts Phyllis on Notice

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 11 tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) finds himself in a bind at Newman Enterprises when his boss and boo Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) tells him about a new requirement regarding the Newman Media and Adustus merger.

At the same time his potential MIL (over her dead body) Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) puts the screws to Nate perhaps forcing him to cop to his very obvious ulterior motives.

Nikki already suspects Nate of being up to no good so when she questions him about his story about Newman Media and Adustus merging to avoid being redundant.

In fact it was villainess Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) who influenced Nate to do the merger due to a past scandal that could sink her career and taint him as well.

This is what happens when you lay down with dogs, you get up with flea and tick bites.

Nate is under a lot of pressure and this could cause him to break and make a risky move that places everything he values in danger.

Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) gets on his ex Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) nerves. Again. Does it mean he’s in Dutch over pushing Audra to be his second in command?

Audra is playing all sides and demanding that Adam give her the job in light of all the past McCall Unlimited scandal.

Sharon knows Adam as well as anyone and his latest request smells to high heaven and back. Will she have to give him a lecture about his claim to now be on the up and up, leaving the old, shady Adam in the rear view mirror?

Both Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) have a lot riding on their mutual business venture so they are ready to put the hammer down on Adam’s funny business.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Daniel’s Tenacity

Elsewhere Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is ready to put his mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in check even though she decided to plead guilty to her crimes, thus avoiding her kids’ incarceration as well.

Daniel has been burned too many times by Red and he is not going to give her the benefit of the doubt over her claims of being new and improved.

This could inadvertently result in more mayhem as Phyllis bends over backwards to prove her love to Daniel and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier). Oy vey, it’s always something with Red.
