The Young and the Restless: What’s Going On With Doug Davidson These Days?

He’s been rather quiet lately, now hasn’t he? A lot of fans can’t help but wonder what’s been going on with The Young and the Restless alum Doug Davidson (ex-Paul Williams). Luckily, we’ve got a little run down for you right here.

The Young and the Restless: What’s Going On With Doug Davidson These Days?

It June, Doug hinted that he would probably like to see The Young and the Restless canceled. After one fan tweeted at Doug, “I tried watching the show without you and I can’t,” along with the hashtag, “Cancel The Young and the Restless,” Doug responded with an emoji saying thank you. That sure says a lot, right?

In May, Doug also hinted that he wants to dish all the dirt he knows about the show. He wrote on Twitter, “I guess I should do an interview with a trusted publication to explain what went down.”

Unfortunately, Doug wasn’t included in The Young and the Restless 50th anniversary festivities. He was not invited for the show’s 50th anniversary celebrations, even though he was on the show for well over four decades. Still, many fans think he should have gotten the respect that he deserves by being invited for the 50th anniversary celebrations.

The Young and the Restless: What’s Next For Doug?

Earlier this year, he was also caught getting into a nasty fight with his fans. When someone tweeted out to Doug, “Who are you claiming is desperate for a pay day,” he shot back with, “You might want to consider taking a course in analytical thinking.”

Unfortunately, that wasn’t all. When another fan suggested that former writer Sally Sussman and some other cast mates are coming back, Doug fired back with, “Let’s say a very subjective opinion. You might be stupid, huh,” along with, “Who are you? A faceless entity. That’s how all authoritarian regimes begin.”

Here’s hoping that the next six months of the year is going to look better for good ol’ Dougie, right?

It goes without saying that The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next! Watch this space.
