General Hospital Spoilers: Ava’s Attempts to Manipulate Sonny Won’t Work Without Nina’s Help

General Hospital Spoilers tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) is nearly at her wit’s end trying to please Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), who wants her to fork over private details of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) business dealings with a federal defense contractor. Moving weapons through his territory off the radar is certainly a crime that could take Sonny down, but what is Mason’s interest in it?

Wouldn’t taking the don out suffice? Apparently not. As Ava works under pressure from both Mason and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), she just might find herself hitting roadblock after roadblock where Sonny is concerned. The guy’s home office is airtight, and he has eyes all over the place. Moreover, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) won’t prove to be the ally Ava thought she might have been. This could leave Ava in pretty dire straits, and turning on the last person she ever thought she would to get what she needs.

General Hospital Spoilers — Pilar is Here to Stay

Ava’s attempts to convince Sonny to replace Avery Corinthos’ (Grace Scarola) beloved nanny, Pilar Juarez (Brenda Barberena), with her own personal spy will be met with staunch resistance. Sonny is going to be baffled by Ava’s suggestion, as he believes that Pilar is essential to their daughter’s upbringing. Furthermore, there is a chance Pilar has already mentioned her suspicious encounter with Ava while alone in the penthouse, which might lead Sonny to believe Ava is up to no good.

GH Spoilers Report Carly Isn’t Going Anywhere

When they thought Sonny was dead, Ava and Carly came together to do whatever they needed to keep Avery’s spirits up. Ava wasn’t about to remove Avery from Carly’s life just because she could; that wouldn’t have been best for Avery. Mistakenly, this time around, Ava might be thinking she can relate to Carly on a maternal level and get her to see her side of things with Pilar. But someone should have warned Ava about how much Carly loves Pilar — and respects Sonny as Avery’s father more so than she respects Ava as her mother. Once again, Carly is going to back Sonny’s opinion and insist that Pilar stay on. That’ll be the end of any hope that Ava has of getting a spy into Sonny’s home to unearth the Pikeman documents.

General Hospital Spoilers: Ava’s Attempts to Manipulate Sonny Won’t Work Without Nina’s Help

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Has Nina Over a Barrel

Ava never would have imagined she would have to stoop so low, but she can’t very well let Mason lead her around by the noose forever. He knows she killed Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss); therefore, Ava has to give him what he wants if she wants to remain a free woman. Despite how freely Nina opens up to Ava about the sinister moves she has made against Carly, we’ve noticed that Ava doesn’t reciprocate. She’s not open about the crimes she has committed. Could that be because she knows Nina is worth more to her as an asset than a friend to vent to? The last thing she needs is for someone else to potentially have anything to hold against her or manipulate her with. Rather, in a surprising twist, Ava is going to use Nina’s secrets against her as she demands her compliance in getting the information Mason needs. This friendship is about to be rocked, and Nina won’t have a friend to turn to or any alternative but to comply if she doesn’t want Ava to out her to Sonny and Carly.
