Meghan Markle Faked Her Spotify Podcasts – Added Her Voice Later To Interviews

Are people going to start calling her the Duchess of Lies now? There’s a new report that suggests Meghan Markle did not in fact interview some of the guests on her podcast, Archetypes. Instead, it’s being suggested that her voice was added in later to some of the interviews. This has prompted a lot of people to question the authenticity of her podcast and why she would go to such a length to lie about it, too. Here’s what you need to know.

As many royal fans are aware of by now, Spotify fired Meghan Markle for not producing enough content for her podcast. Even though she and Prince Harry had signed their contract with Spotify back in 2020 – which was worth an estimated $20 million – Meghan has only produced one season of her show. One Spotify executive even went as far as to call the Duke and Duchess of Sussex lazy grifters for not doing enough for the company.

Well, that seems to be the least of Meghan’s worries these days as the New York Post says that the Duchess of Sussex faked her podcast interviews only to add her voice in later. While Meghan did in fact interview the A-list guests on her show – which included Mariah Carey, Jameela Jamil, Serena Williams, Paris Hilton and Mindy Kaling – she apparently didn’t speak directly to the experts, academics and authors that were on the show, including  psychologist Laura Kray and sociologist Nancy Wang Yuen. It’s being suggested that audio clips of the experts were cut and added with audio of Meghan speaking. This makes it unclear as to whether or not she spoke to any of the experts at all.

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the criticism. However, sources do say that she might end up taking her podcast to another platform like Amazon in the near future. Unfortunately though, Meghan is going to see very little of the $20 million contract that she had with Spotify. Watch this space.
