Buckingham Palace Silent After Prince Harry’s Near Death Experience With Paparazzi

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, were almost involved in a near fatal car crash with the paparazzi in New York City on Tuesday night. And of course, both royal fans and critics alike want to know the who, what, when, where and why. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Buckingham Palace Silent After Prince Harry’s Near Death Experience With Paparazzi

According to the latest reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were chased by the paparazzi for nearly two hours around New York City. One source claims that the couple did not want to stop their car because they didn’t want the paparazzi to the exact location of where they were staying for security purposes. A spokesperson for the couple said in a statement: “This relentless pursuit, lasting over 2 hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and 2 NYPD officers.”

And while Prince Harry has often talked about the PTSD that he often gets because of the paparazzi, interestingly enough, Buckingham Palace has remained silent about his near death experience. However, a source close to the Sussexes say Harry, Meghan and Doria are “understandably shaken but thankful everyone’s safe.”

If that weren’t enough, it’s also being reported that photos Harry and Meghan that came as a result from the two-hour chase briefly appeared on the Daily Mail this morning but have since been removed.

Were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Lives In Danger?

Many royal critics have commented on the matter with, “Two hours? Where is the video evidence of all this please? Cctv everywhere in NYC,” along with, “So the Daily Mail has pictures of it, and they posted it for a bit? They were the ones who followed them since they had pictures of it. Utterly disturbing. They will find them because NYPD doesn’t play, this is not LA.”

Another critic wrote, “The Daily Mail is an instrument of hate and destruction. The editors who published those photos should be legally compelled to disclose who they bought them from and then the photographers should be jailed.”
