Days of Our Lives spoilers say that there’s a new girl in town and she’s someone that viewers are going to be paying a close eye on for many weeks and months to come. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the stunning beauty said that one of the reasons why she’s so excited about her role on Days of Our Lives is because her grandmother was a huge fan of soaps, too, and specially DOOL and General Hospital. However, it did take a few tries before Aktera managed to land her role in Salem. 

What’s more, Aktera admits that she felt a special connection to her character Talia when she was doing her research on her. Speaking about her character, Aktera said, “I read her like a book. I relate to this girl so much. She’s youthful, fun, and outgoing. She pushes people to the limits in the sense of you only live once. I’m the same way. I’m that friend that’s going to encourage you to live your best life and have fun.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Talia?

Aktera also added that a lot of her new co-stars have been very helpful as she’s been learning her way around the set. One person in particular that has been giving her a lot of useful tips has been Greg Vaughan. She said, “We joke around on set and a lot in hair and makeup. He’s given me a lot of advice. And so has Elia Cantu. She’s literally like my sister. We have an amazing relationship. She’s also an Aquarius, so we bonded over that. The night before I went on set, we had a FaceTime call. We were just catching up on life and getting to know each other as if we really were sisters.”
