The Bold and the Beautiful Star Naomi Matsuda Is Celebrating Her Birthday!

Someone here is celebrating a very special day! The Bold and the Beautiful actress Naomi Matsuda, who is best known for her role as Li Finnegan on the hit CBS soap, is celebrating her birthday, today, on March 14th. Here’s what you need to know about her.

While fans would definitely love to see more of Naomi on the canvas, she’s been keeping quite busy both on and off screen lately with several different projects in the pipeline. With that said, Naomi quickly became a fan favorite among The Bold and the Beautiful viewers.  Fans simply just love her! Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Naomi admitted that her name has a special meaning to it. She said, “Naomi comes from the Bible. It’s Hebrew. My mother wanted to give me a different kind of name. She did not want to give me a traditional Japanese name. I love that.”

Naomi also told the publication that when she moved from her native Japan to San Diego, she and her mother learned English thanks to daytime television. “I started kindergarten and I was a year late, and I had to learn English, so every day when I came home from school, I watched soap operas,” she recalls. “I saw Susan Lucci [ex-Erica, ALL MY CHILDREN] every day. The soap operas helped me speak English.”

Meanwhile, the stunning actress has been hard at work on another film project! She recently shared a selfie from her new set and captioned it with, “Thank you New York and Gemelli Film with Candice Cain. That’s a Wrap for me! I’m in complete gratitude for another incredible experience I got to be a part of! In deep appreciation.”
