The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Puts Sally In Her Place – But Is She Being a Hypocrite?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this might be yet another classic example of pot meet kettle. While Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) might think that she is putting Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in her place by calling her out for her selfishness, some critics think that Summer is the last person who should say anything in this case. Here’s what you need to know.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Puts Sally In Her Place – But Is She Being a Hypocrite?

Summer is making it pretty clear that she thinks Sally is using her father Nick Newman as a shield to protect herself from Adam Newman, even though she’s carrying Adam’s baby. For Summer and the rest of the world, it doesn’t make sense that Sally is in a relationship with one brother while having a baby with the other brother. While there’s no doubt that is the definition of textbook selfishness, is Summer in the position to call Sally out on it? That’s what some people can’t help but wonder.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans sure did have a lot to say about this episode. Some commented with, “Just cause Summer is also a selfish brat doesn’t negate the fact that she’s right about Sally. Sally is selfish and using Nick to shield herself from Adam. Takes one to know one, I guess,” along with, “Summer calling Sally selfish, what a joke!  Sally needs to look back on everything she has done.   Her and Kyle are the most selfish people on the show!!!”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Sally?

Another critic wrote, “Selfish, huh. Take a look in the mirror, Summer, that’s what selfish looks like! Summer is the epitome of selfishness. Not one thing she has done in her whole life has been selfless. Even giving Lola part of her liver, which can regenerate in a few months, came with selfish strings attached. In the 50 yrs of the show, Summer should get the most selfish award!”

With that said, The Young and the Restless fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen next.
