British Royal News: Meghan Markle Was Told She’s Not Close Enough To Kate Middleton To Make Comments About Her
British Royal News says that it looks like the truth about how things really did go down behind closed doors is coming out. According to Prince Harry’s book, Spare, his wife Meghan Markle was told that she’s not close enough to Kate Middleton to make off-color comments about her. This all happened when Meghan suggested that her sister-in-law had ‘baby brain’ back in 2018. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Page Six, the Duke of Sussex says that Meghan Markle was put in her place after she suggested that Kate was suffering from the all too familiar “baby brain” ahead of their wedding in May 2018. Apparently, Meghan and Kate had a little bit of an argument and the Duchess of Sussex said that her sister-in-law “must have baby brain because of her hormones.”
Harry wrote, “There was a discussion about the timing of the wedding rehearsal and the flower girl dresses and Kate was very upset.”
The Duke added that Meghan was reprimanded for her comment and that she was told that she wasn’t close enough to Kate to make a comment like that.
British Royal News: What’s Next For The Royals?
Back in 2021, and in her interview with Oprah, Meghan said she simply wanted to correct a story that royal family failed to do on their end about who made who cry before her wedding to Prince Harry back in 2018. While the media suggested it was the Duchess of Sussex who was acting unfair and difficult, Meghan clarified to Oprah that it was in fact Kate Middleton who made her cry. Nevertheless, Meghan said Kate owned up to it, apologized and also sent her flowers. The Duchess of Sussex also said that there were no ill feelings between the two of them and that she still feels as though Kate is a good person.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
