The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Doug Davidson Says ‘No Return’ To The Soap
Say it isn’t so! The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that fans might not be seeing Paul Williams back on the canvas. That’s because the character’s portrayer, Doug Davidson, says there’s a very little chance that he’ll ever return to the soap after he was taken off contract a few years back. Here’s what you need to know.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Doug Davidson Says ‘No Return’ To The Soap
Seeing how there’s been no indication made that Paul will be back on the canvas anytime soon, Doug wrote to his Twitter fans, “You guys are amazing. I don’t think there is a chance of a return, but your love and support is so incredibly beautiful to me.”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for his fans and his followers to weigh in on the matter. Many of them wrote, “I’m so sorry Doug. There was no reason to stop writing for “Paul”. Could have found lots for him to do, and at least give him a proper send off if not, for your sake and for the fans. I’ve enjoyed watching you for many years. All the best in whatever the future holds for you.”
Another fan wrote, “Doug Davidson we loved you on the young and the restless! We are ready for you to come back on the show! I guess you just decided not to come back or something happened on the set, that made you leave! Either way, we miss you on the show!” along with, “You were twice burned. I don’t blame you for not wanting to come back. I stopped watching Y&R when they killed off Rey Rosales/Jordi V. They don’t handle their exit very well. Or their actors for that matter. Eric Braeden and you are OG’s It’s a shame I used to love Y&R.”
