Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), like her soon-to-be ex-boyfriend, doesn’t have all the information she needs. If she did, Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) would be getting an earful, and that familial connection would be badly damaged.
But Electra and Grace don’t know what Daphne Walton (Muriel Hilaire) does. Ivy elevated what was manageable tension into a full crisis. She did so to force Will out of her niece’s life.
Ivy Forrester Plays Mommy Dearest
As far as viewers know, Ivy is not Electra’s mother. Unless that history rewrite happens, she’ll remain an aunt to Grace’s character.
Daphne opened the door to the multipurpose office that’s across the hall from Forrester Creations executive suite. Plenty of chit chat about personal drama takes place in this fashion house. So, viewers have never been sure when work actually gets done, with a soapy tongue planted firmly inside their mouths.
As for Daphne, she saw Ivy commit a clear moral crime and called her out and stood her ground. Ivy has gotten in Daphne’s face, warning her to mind her business and stay out of Electra’s love life.
That’s a hoot, considering Ivy is playing Mommy Dearest to the hilt. Whether she’s in the process of being written to a mental break or written out of Los Angeles, California, will eventually be seen. But in the meantime, Electra has suffered from the consequences her aunt engineered.
Will Spencer Can’t Lie About The Truth
The truth must be told, but it can produce unwanted consequences. So, Will’s entrance in the showroom was momentarily fortuitous.
We had a chance to talk out their feelings and potentially work out their differences. But instead of misconceptions being determined as Ivy’s dirty work, all went south.
Electra felt that Dylan (Sydney Bullock) was coming on to Will. What she didn’t know was that Will was allowing himself to see Dylan in ways that went beyond sympathy for her plight.
Telling Electra about kissing Dylan isn’t intended to cause harm. He just wanted to be honest. However, his inexperience with serious relationships proves to be a detriment to any reasonable reconciliation hopes he and Electra have.
Electra Forrester Told RJ Forrester No
The subject header is a declarative statement. But it’s also a good comparative point.
When faced with someone she found physically attractive, Electra made a choice that was starkly different than Will’s. She told RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) that he couldn’t do that.
As viewers recall, Will liked Dylan’s ballet performance and, days later, allowed her to prove that she was, as she claimed, a good kisser. That alone confirmed Electra’s fears as well-founded and worse than she assumed. Ivy didn’t coerce that.
