The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy Blames Hope as Their Explosive Feud Reignites
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) doesn’t often agree with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
But so far they are in sync in blaming two Spencers for Forrester Creations’ major problems.
Logan isn’t Brooke’s exclusive property. Yes, she had the name trademarked in years past, but Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) confirmed that the company made a mistake in letting it lapse.
So, in addition to being a shared family name with Brooke and Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis), Logan also became the moniker for the startup fashion house under Spencer Publications’ umbrella.
Spencer Publications Needs A Name Update
Maybe Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) should consider a brand update. The Publications part of his business name suggests printed paper materials.
While print still exists and likely will continue, a better name would be simply Spencer or Spencer Incorporated. Dollar Bill Enterprises probably would be over the top but is something Diamont’s character wouldn’t initially dismiss, with Katie likely talking him away from that option.
A paragraph of light humor is needed in what has become a very serious storyline. The implications include multiple splits, with Brooke telling Katie she’s no longer part of the Logan family and isn’t welcome in her home.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan Lost Liam Spencer
Steffy doesn’t lose, except once. She lost Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) a handful of years ago.
As devoted viewers recall, Steffy wore herself out emotionally. She finally reached a plot point where Wood’s character told Hope to go back to Liam because he loved her more. Steffy was right, even though that couple split.
However, Hope and Liam’s recent remarriage was important. It reinforced that they are soul mates. While Liam loved Steffy deeply in the past and they share a daughter, as he does with Hope, his more enduring love is Hope.
That factor appears to irk Steffy in the core of her soul. At the very least, Hope’s presence is irritating and played into Noelle’s character being sidelined at FC for a lengthy period of time. That led to her decision to jump to Logan.
Hope Logan Spencer Realizes A New World
It is far easier to be in the spot that Brooke or Steffy occupies at FC than it was for Katie and Hope to be in the Forrester family company. Brooke has Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) enduring adoration and Eric’s admiration.
Steffy was named after the co-founder of the company, who was her grandmother. Eric picked her to share power with her father. Steffy is also the obvious apple of Ridge’s eye.
In contrast, Hope had no hammer at FC. Her remarriage to Liam made her part of the loathed Spencer contingent.
But at Logan, none of the above applies, which is why she’s not looking back, and while Hope still can be riled by Steffy, won’t allow that derision to shift her focus away from Hope by Logan.
