Stephanie Simmons Builds Bonds And A New Relationship

The character Fox plays isn’t new. Devoted fans recall that she debuted in the 1990s, which was when Shemar Moore (Malcolm Winters) first became famous for his portrayal of Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) brother.

Stephanie was in Genoa City, Wisconsin, from 1994 through 1996. Angelle Brooks portrayed Malcolm’s romantic interest during the last year viewers saw Stephanie.

Holden Novak’s (most recently played by Nathan Owens) arrival in GC led to his mother’s return to this famous Midwestern city. Her bombshell announcement that he was Malcolm’s son became necessary during the period in the plot when Moore’s character had a serious illness.

Holden didn’t prove to be the match Malcolm needed, with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) filling that soapy role. However, Stephanie became Nate’s match after Malcolm recovered and returned to his photography career, with Holden said to have joined him in recent months.

Nate was understandably upset when his surgical career was suddenly halted. That happened when Devon Winters (Bryton James) punched Nate at the Top of the Towers because Dominic’s character was involved with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

The family business that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon have been heading for their late father expanded to include Nate. That happened after Nate became too focused on aggressive business tactics and broke his cousins’ trust.

But enough time has passed in the plot from then until now. Most recently, Lily ensured that Nate’s plan to return to practicing medicine was hastened. His release from the family business greenlit his reappearance at the hospital where he used to practice.

Nate’s latest hospital struggles are also highlighted in the November 5 recap, which details Andrew’s attempt to block Nate from the operating room.

Audra Charles’ Hopes Dashed By Revealed Secret?

Nate broke things off with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) many months ago. He concluded that her ethics were out of order, recognizing her duplicitous impulses from his own misguided experiences in the business world.

Audra was shaken by the breakup. She felt more deeply for Nate than any man she’s ever been involved with.

Although it feels like Audra’s renewed interest in Nate will be followed by Stephanie’s return with Holden, the desert secret she and Holden share, which is bound to be revealed eventually, certainly won’t help to revive Nate’s interest in her trustworthiness.

As previously discussed, Audra and Holden’s buried secret could eventually be exposed, especially if Claire continues searching for answers.

Andrew is certainly making Nate’s return to surgery difficult! I think Nate deserves another chance at his medical career, but his problems with Andrew could be just the beginning. And if Audra wants Nate back, that secret with Holden could ruin everything.
