Meghan McCain Blasts The View Hosts, Praises JD Vance After Explosive On-Air Clash
Meghan McCain still has it out for her former ‘The View’ co-hosts, several years after engaging in heated panel discussions with them.
This time around, she called them out for acting so immature during their interview segment with Vice President JD Vance.
In case you need a reminder, McCain served as the resident conservative on the panel for four years prior to her 2021 exit.
Meghan McCain Wades Into ‘The View’ Debate, And Shares Strong Opinions
Meghan McCain has apparently broken her pledge to stop talking about her former workplace. This time, she rushed to call them out over their recent chat with JD Vance, whilst calling them names, and insisting that they’re still terrible fact checkers.
“My biggest takeaway from Vance on The View is honestly how shitty and undisciplined the hosts STILL ARE. After all these years they still get basics facts wrong, flub easy questions and can’t get through a segment without yelling at each other,” senator John McCain’s daughter shared on social media.
She concluded by writing, “Vance handled it all very well.”
What McCain probably meant by flubbing “easy questions” might have been inspired by the heated exchange between Ana Navarro and moderator Whoopi Goldberg.
At one point during the whole interview, Goldberg scolded Navarro on air, as the latter tried to ask a follow-up question to JD Vance. At the time, a visibly frustrated Goldberg cut Navarro off, whilst attempting to take the show to a commercial break.
As for Vance’s performance, the politician appeared relaxed throughout the interview, and even quipped around with the hosts when the interview was just kicking off. He even put up a brave smile as Goldberg admonished Navarro.
However, he did deflect some hard-hitting questions, especially ones centered around America’s economy.
When Goldberg asked him about the administration, he replied: “I’m telling you, we celebrate Black history, we celebrate all American history in this administration. You guys might be skeptical of this, but I’m telling you it’s true.”
Vance’s appearance on the show, however, centered around promoting his new book: “Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith.”
