General Hospital Spoilers: Surprising News, Promised Takedown, Life Altering Decisions
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, February 26 tease surprising news, a promised takedown, and life altering decisions.
Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) gets surprising news, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) promises a takedown, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) makes a life altering decision!
Surprising News
In the midst of Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) emotional turmoil surrounding Chase’s infertility, he drops a bombshell!
He reveals to a stunned Brook Lynn that he has devised a plan for them to have a child together. But if he’s sterile, how could this be feasible; is he suggesting they use a sperm donor who’s a close relative, allowing Brook Lynn to carry an embryo closely related?
Or could it be that he’s uncovered a breakthrough procedure enabling them to create an embryo together? While seeking a second opinion is always wise, the mystery of how they could have a child that truly belongs to both of them remains a conundrum!
Crucial Questioning
At the PCPD, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) remains behind bars as one of the alternate assistant district attorneys, most recently Jennifer Field as Jennifer Arden, has urgent inquiries for Drew.
Summoned to the station to provide an alibi for Jason, the ADA presses Drew with a pointed question: “Was Mr. Morgan with you at that time or not?”
The pressure mounts for Drew; a lie could unleash Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) on him, not to mention the potential wrath of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)!
Plus, he has to consider how this will reflect on Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), who is right there with him.
Promised Takedown
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) receives a response from Stella following his earlier inquiry-she reveals that she believes they have a strategy to bring down Drew.
It’s likely that either is aware of Drew’s current presence at the PCPD, where he is there to support Jason—unless someone has tipped them off.
Given that Drew and Jason were once identical twins before Drew underwent extensive plastic surgery after his accident, their DNA should still match.
If Stella and Curtis are aware of Jason’s situation regarding the murder suspicion, what are they scheming? Drew certainly had a motive to confront Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) months ago, but what exactly is Stella planning?
Carly Pressures Anna
Carly is unwavering in her faith in Jason, convinced he is innocent of Cyrus’s murder. While conversing with Anna at the PCPD, she expresses her determination to uncover Cyrus’s killer so she can extend her gratitude.
However, if she were to discover that the true culprit was her own daughter, Josslyn, it would leave her reeling, despite her initial inclination to thank her.
Unbeknownst to Carly, there are intricate plots unfolding behind the scenes that would leave both her and Anna unsettled, though Anna might not be entirely shocked.
Just recently, Anna had warned Jack Brennan (Chris L. Kenna) to keep his distance from her granddaughter, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) perhaps to prevent any attempts at recruitment.
Life Altering Decisions
Josslyn has made her way back to the WSB field office, where she finds herself face-to-face with Brennan. In a tense exchange, she echoes his earlier warning: if she refuses to play along with his schemes, he could very well send her to prison.
He had previously cautioned her about the consequences of her doubts regarding Jason’s situation, insisting that she needed to “toe the line” after revealing that the WSB had planted evidence.
Now, Josslyn is torn; she can’t shake the feeling that Jason will be wrongfully convicted, especially with Brennan’s ominous threat to produce a body as proof of her involvement.
But could there be another path; might Josslyn decide to go above Brennan’s head and expose him for orchestrating this dangerous setup against Cyrus and framing Jason?
