General Hospital Spoilers: Kai’s Football Career Ends In Tragedy, But Brings Trina Closer
General Hospital spoilers tease that Kai Taylor’s (Jens Austin Astrup) whole identity seems to revolve around his athletic prowess in football.
He’s on full scholarship with PCU and is the team’s new star quarterback. As viewers know, Kai has an advisor who chose all his classes . He didn’t really even attend class because of his worth to the university as a football player. This has put him in conflict with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Alli).
General Hospital Spoilers – Kai Taylor is trying to make amends with Trina Robinson
Trina and Kai were paired together this semester as partners in Art History. Kai was initially a no-show for class, nor did he respond to Trina when she tried to contact him about working together.
It was only when they met by chance that Kai realized his privilege was hurting Trina’s grades. Kai vowed to do better and has started to come to class.
He even surprised Trina by compiling a list of books they can use for their class project. But the truth is that Kai’s football career is more important and will likely cause even more issues between him and Trina.
GH Spoilers – Kai Taylor may become seriously injured
Recently, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) ran into Kai at Volonino’s Gym where they sparred together. Kai noted that his coach wouldn’t be happy if he knew that he was participating in that kind of activity.
Although nothing happened, it did seem to foreshadow the possibility that Kai could soon face some sort of terrible injury. Perhaps Kai will be hurt during a game and taken to General Hospital. It’s even possible that Kai could be injured so badly that he could no longer play football.
General Hospital Spoilers – Kai Taylor could face a serious crisis of identity
Kai’s whole life is tied so deeply to football that if something were to happen that ended his football career, it could change his entire life. People would treat him much differently and many of his friends could even abandon him.
The school would no longer be able to give him a free pass in the sense that now he would have to actually go to all his classes and work for his grade.
The one positive thing that might come of an injury like that would be that it very well could bring him and Trina closer. Trina knows first hand what it’s like to feel as if her whole world was taken from her in an instant because that’s exactly how she felt when Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) died.
